Umbra by Dorothy Hanna
View All Artist's Work£450.00
Stunning monochrome collagraph print by Cornwall based artist Dorothy Hanna, edition of 5.
This work was selected and exhibited at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2019.
Collagraphs are made by building a surface on the printing plate in a variety of ways. Dorothy has developed a technique of intricately drawing on the plate with glue. When inked and printed this not only creates the visual image but also a very textural surface on the work.
Unframed, 44 x 51 image size, mount approx. 56 x 65 cm.
