Working with Helen gave us the opportunity to firstly find artists whose work we love and then commission pieces of the perfect size. Helen visited us initially to get a really good idea of our style and what we wanted and then presented us with a good variety to choose from and within our budget. I don t know much about art but I found the art on her website brilliantly diverse, lively and covered all moods; in lockdown 1.0 it was a place to visit and escape to!I visited her The Art Buyer Gallery earlier in the year and it was amazing - the subtleties of the art were just beautiful and made me want to fill my house with art!Helen was patient with me, incredibly passionate about her artists - talking me through each of their approaches and techniques, which really added to the story of each of the art pieces. She allowed me to discuss what I liked and whilst she helped, I don t recall her saying what she liked or disliked - I felt guided, but that I had chosen a piece of art that I really really loved. We purchased a Laura Wade and could not have been happier with the piece, or more impressed with the service. I usually avoid real-life galleries as I'm always slightly paranoid I'm going to be talked into spending too much or end up breaking something, so the online gallery was ideal for me to browse. The varying artists was also a real treat and it had clearly been carefully put together to suit a variety of tastes and affordability. We contacted Helen before placing the order and she demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the artists and asked us really insightful questions which gave us even more confidence that we were buying the right piece of art. We felt we had received a really personal service from someone who knows the art world. We will definitely be using The Art Buyer again. read less
