We at The Art Buyer online gallery were SO thrilled to be sent a copy of the August edition of Ideal Home Magazine and find that WE were featured in ‘The Style Editor’. Bit of a dream come true for this new, female-led business.
Ideal Home’s Style Editor Michela Colling calls out our online gallery as accessible. That was the main goal, affordable art, that you can easily view, imagine in your home and buy with no fuss. The Art Buyer website launched at the start of the first lockdown, in a time when we could only research, ogle and shop online. But I firmly believe that exciting, affordable, original art should be easy to view and order online – just as you would shop for clothes and home furnishings. If, when it arrives, it isn’t completely right, then we’re happy to take it back and help you find the ‘the one’. No questions, no judgement. Buying art should be enjoyable and rewarding, not daunting and confusing.
I was so happy our advisory service was mentioned – working with clients to find the piece (or pieces) that are right for them is what The Art Buyer Consultancy is all about. No challenge too big, no project too small. It all starts with an initial call or meeting. I provide open and honest pricing for my art finder service, the fees are fully redeemable against any artwork purchased via The Art Buyer service over £500. We then research like mad (our all time favourite hobby/obsession) and provide a proposal of works that we think will fit your brief, with a few surprises added in. If we don’t get it right first time, we’ll keep your mission in mind while scouring new artists and shows and continue to invite you to art fairs and send you early access to new works. We’re in it for the long haul and sourcing art is for life, not just for …. you get the idea.
And, thank you Ideal Home for highlighting our try art before you buy it offering too. Even with the most elaborate visual imagination, sometimes it’s hard to truly know if something is right until it’s there before you. It should be love at first sight (or sniff, there’s nothing like the smell of a painted canvas). But hang it, arrange it and live with it for a day or two, knowing you have the option. Helping you to discover and fall in love with art is at the heart of The Art Buyer mission.
