Red Swarm by Dorothy Hanna is a collagraph, edition of 8.
Collagraphs are made by building a surface on the printing plate in a variety of ways. Dorothy has developed a technique of intricately drawing on the plate with glue. When inked and printed this not only creates the visual image but also a very textural surface on the work.
All work is on Zerkall 350gsm paper.
50 x 51 cm image + mount approx. 63 x 64 cm.
