Well, you might have heard there’s a ‘thing’ happening today < ahem, Black Friday, pardon me>.

I confess, with over 15 nieces and nephews to buy for and my own two who were into noisy plastic things for many years, I have shaken hands with Mr Amazon and his kind. Convenience, bad habits etc. I know many small business’ also trade through huge retailers like this. I worked in retail for years and have also seen the passion, sweat and swearing that goes into launching each new range and collection. Remembering that some of these companies are big employers too.
So no bashing or vitriol here.

Introducing emerging artist Ellie Caeti, who joined us for our recent show at The Upstart Gallery, as a Putney based artist.
Ellie is a London based artist and interior designer, who’s playful landscapes lie somewhere between Abstract and Impressionism.

New painting 'August', sees our eye drawn along a sun drenched path bathed in soft summer hues. Movement and warmth characterise this dreamy contemporary landscape.

From this chilly November evening, this pretty canvas recalls memories of warm summer holidays. A perfect dose of escapism.
