    Sara Wibberley

Sara Wibberley is an emerging painter born in 1975 in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. She now lives with her husband and two teenage sons in a small village in rural Bedfordshire, UK. She studied Fine Art at school but then went on to train as a primary school teacher at Brighton University.

Having been a teacher for the last 28 years, she reignited her love for creating art during the first Covid lockdown and has been creating art most days since. Sara’s work is hugely influenced by her Italian heritage; her fixation on the country’s rich culture and Mediterranean fruits are shaped by her childhood summers spent in her family home in Italy. Sara Wibberley’s bond with her background is unchanged in her adult life as she continues to visit her home in Italy as often as time allows.

Sara has taken part in her local art fairs and sold many works through this, as well as sales around the world, including America, Netherlands and Brazil. She has exhibited in local exhibitions in Bedfordshire, Hayden Gallery in Buckinghamshire and The Art Buyer in Hampton Court, as well as gaining representation by Cor Gallery in Falmouth, Cornwall.
