Lucy Thallon

Lucy Thallon graduated from Bath College of Art in 2005 and now lives and works in Surrey. For the past nine years, Lucy’s work has revolved around the natural environment and its immersive intricacy. She explores themes that are highly congruous, landscape, the natural world, and elements that make up that world. In this work, Lucy aims to create a dynamic and expressive language of paint while maintaining a sensitivity to detail and complexity; not in an overwrought way, but as an important contribution to the works’ compositional whole. Lucy has been shortlisted for the Hunting Art Prize, Figurative Art Now, and the Threadneedle Prize.
