Kit Lintin

Kit Lintin is a London-based oil painter whose practice blends traditional, classical still-life techniques with the evocative allure of surrealist compositions, creating work that bridges the past and present, offering a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic.

Drawing inspiration from the quiet power of everyday objects, Kit curates scenes where familiar forms are reimagined in new contexts, revealing beauty in subtle details and charm in the unexpected. Her paintings often suggest a human presence without fully disclosing it, leaving the narrative open and ever-evolving with each new interpretation.

Marked by muted tones, deep shadows and striking contrasts, Kit’s palette draws viewers into the intimate world of her objects, where carefully composed scenes invite exploration of their enigmatic qualities and narrative potential.

Kit has been commissioned by prominent brands including Burlington Arcade, Champagne Bollinger and Pimentae to create bespoke artwork for commercial projects.
